The classic version of this problem is a corporate machine where you can't install anything, can't plug in a personal phone, and don't want to log into your personal mail or messengers just to move one address or one snippet. A website you can type two words into is the whole requirement here — and that's all this is.
That matters double on a shared or monitored machine: a throw is read once and gone, an unread one dies in 10 minutes, and there's no account involved — so there's no history to sign out of and nothing to clean up afterwards.
